A Word About Life and Things

 On Our Knees

The battle ground is in our minds and on our knees. We ask God for His help, on our knees. We give God our praise, on our knees. That is where we thank Him for His goodness to us, on our knees. On our knees is the most important place in our lives.

There was a man, Dale Gentry, who worked at a radio station, and went to work at 3:30 am. God asked him to give Him the 1st hour of the day. Dale got up at 2:00 am, and gave God the first hour of the day. He became a great Prophet and has spoken into thousands of people’s lives. He has also spoken into my life many times. Everything he said, has come to pass, with two more things to come.

Some people pray in their cars on the way to work. There is nothing wrong with that, if you don’t close your eyes. With God He has always asked for the first part. He wants the first part of our tithes. He also wants the first part of our time. He wants the first of everything in our lives. Where can we go, and what can we accomplish, if we put God first in every part of our lives?

Many people say, they are too busy. They don’t have the time. We make time for the things we want to do. We do live in a busy world. Sometimes we are busy doing too many things. There are many things we can eliminate, if we wanted to. We put the things that are the most important to us first on our schedule. Where are you going to spend eternity? That is the most important thing in our lives; planning on eternity. Our God loves us more than we can ever imagine. He gave us the life we have. He also gave us salvation so we can live with Him for eternity. It is our prayers and our faith, that God is looking for, from us.

There is coming a day when every person on earth, every demon, and everyone in heaven, will bow their knees and declare that Jesus is Lord, and His Name is above every name. We need to bow on our knees before that day comes, and put Him first in every thing we do.

      New King James Version
Philippians 2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
