A Word About Life and Things

Through It All

Everyone on earth goes through problems, difficulties and trials. It does not matter if we are Christians or not. Everyone will see problems in their lives. The Doctor tells us we have a cancer: Our spouse leaves us: We lose our jobs: We lose a child: Our business fails: There are many things that come our way: It is how we handle our problems, that tells God who we are. Do we give up? Do we leave our spouse? Do we change church from one to another? Or do we trust God in every situation that we have? There is a song, Through It All, written by Andraé Crouch,  that tells us the story, of our lives.

I’ve had many tears and sorrows,
I’ve had questions for tomorrow,
There’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.
But in every situation.
God gave me blessed consolation,
That my trials come to only make me strong.

I’ve been to lots of places.
I’ve seen a lot of faces.
There’s been times I felt so alone.
But in my lonely hours,
Yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus lets me know that I was His own.

I thank God for the mountains,
And I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if I’d never had a problem,
I wouldn’t know God could solve them,
I’d never know what faith in God could do.

  Through it all,
Through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God.

  Through it All,
Through it all,
I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.

Through it all I have learned to trust in our God. For without Him we have nothing. But with Him we have everything. We have life. We have salvation. We know we will live with Him, through out eternity. Through It All,  I will put my trust in God.
