A Word About Life and Things
Plan A

We all make plans for our lives. We have some long
range plans, like sailing around the world. We may
have plans for climbing the tallest mountain, or we
may have plans for running in a race. We all have
plans to marry someone beautiful or handsome. Most
all of us make plans to have children.
We also have plans for everyday things, like finding a good job, going to the grocery store, stop and get some gas for the car. We make a lot of plans. Some plans are Plan A. Sometime we have to change them to Plan B. Other times we may change it to Plan C. Some people have to go to Plan Z. We all make plans for our lives, and hope they come true. Many plans we make do not come true. They are either too big, or we cannot find the time or money to do them. We still make our plans. God also has a plan for your life. He calls it Plan A. He does not have a Plan B, or Plan C. He has only the one plan, Plan A. He knows everything about us. He knows the mistakes, the problems, the hurts, the wrong roads we travel. He knows everything we will ever do. He has included all of those things into His Plan A for our lives. Many people run away from God. They think they know more than God. They know how to run their own life. They want nothing to do with God. After they go down that wrong road, and after all of the alcohol; the drugs; the wrong friends, they start to see another way to go. Maybe God knows more about me, than myself. So they give God a try. God included all of those wrong choices, into His plans for them. He knew in advance all of the wrong choices we would make, There is nothing that God does not know. He has a Plan A, waiting for us all. He does not change His mind about us. He always has that Plan A, waiting for us when we give our life over to Him. He says here is my Plan for you, lets get started on it. He still accept us after all of the wrong turns we have made. He still loves us and has that Plan A waiting for us, when we give everything we have over to Him. He still loves us more than we can every know. God also has a time table for everything that He is going to do for us. We get impatient while we are waiting for God to work in our lives. God is never late with His Plan A. When the time is right, God will move on our behalf and not before that time. A missionary once said that God is never late, but He missed a lot of opportunities to be early. God will fulfill all that he has for us, if we wait for His Plan A to be accomplished in our lives. - New King James Version Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. |
