The Complainer
People like to complain about everything under the
Sun. Approximately 80% of people have a negative
attitude, and approximately 20% have a positive
attitude. People complain about the weather.
Its too hot, or its too cold. Then they complain
about the rain, we don’t have enough, or we have too
much rain. People complain about their sickness. We
complain about MY Sickness, and MY Rheumatism, and
many other things that are wrong with our
bodies.
We also talk about the Pastor and many other people. We fell free to talk about everyone around us. Miriam and Aaron complained about Moses’s wife, because she was an Ethiopian woman. Aaron and Miriam said “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us, also?” God said to come out you three. God said to Aaron and Miriam, “Hear now My words: if there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. I speak to him face to face. Even plainly, and not in dark sayings.” God stood up for Moses. Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Moses asked God to heal her. God said to let her be put out of the camp for 7 days. After 7 days she was healed. Israel was not allowed to go into the promise land, because they complained about the giants in the land and against God. When we complain we are not putting our faith in God. With out faith it is impossible to please God. Therefor we have no standing with God. God takes our words very seriously. We need to keep watch over the things we say. We are to thank Him for everything that happens in our lives. We do not thank Him for the problems; we thank Him that He is taking care of our problems. We are putting our hope in the Lord God Almighty. He will take care of us, if we let Him and stop complaining. _______________________________ New King James Version Psalms 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. New King James Version Psalms 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. New King James Version Jeremiah 17:7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. New King James Version Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. New King James Version Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? New King James Version Numbers 12: Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. |
