A Word About Life and Things

A New Creation

Men and women have always tried to make the outside of our bodies to be clean, dressed with the best clothes, and wear the best jewelry. We try our best to keep looking the best with a tummy tuck and any other things that are needed to look our best. We dye our hair and have hair transplants. We have collagen injections to make our face look better. We do our best to look good in public. But what about the inside and in our hearts?

Jesus told the Pharisees that they “clean on the outside of a cup and dish, but the insides are full of extortion and self-indulgence.” He also said they were “like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” We do the same thing: We dress in our best clothes, we wear the most expensive jewelry, We like to show off to the most prominent people. We are telling everyone we have no problems. While on the inside we are like dead men’s bones. We have chaos in our lives.

Jesus said “you must be born again.” You cannot take your old self and dress up the outside and be good to God. He said we must be born again. That means we give our life and everything we have to Him, as our redeemer. When we do that we are a new creation, in the Lord. Old things pass away and all things are new. We are a new person on the inside and outside. We do not have to pretend and longer. We have become a new and beautiful person on the inside and the outside. Because we belong to the Lord God Almighty; We are His new Man and Woman. We belong to Him.
