A Word About Life and Things

Our Purpose

Everyone wants to know why he/she are here on earth. We go through our daily chores and still at the end of the day we still wonder why we are here. We all want to know the purpose of our lives, and why we are here. We may use our gifts and our talents to become rich and famous. But, still we do not know what our purpose is.

What is my purpose in life? The only way for anyone to know their purpose is to become a child of God. God has all the answers for everything. We become a child of God by asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins. We also ask Him to come into our hearts. We believe He died for our sins, and He rose from the grave and is alive forevermore. Then we start to find out what our purpose in life is.

Now I’m talking to the children of God. God does not create anyone or anything without a purpose. Everyone on this earth has a purpose. We start by giving ourselves to God by accepting Jesus as our redeemer. Then we start doing the will of our Father. We cannot please God if we are not doing His will. Then we give to God what He requires from us. Then we give Him our tithes on the first part of the increase that we get. We also give offerings according what we want to give. Then God will bless us. His blessings are not for us to make us rich. It is so we can bless others. The more we give, the more God will bless us. God told Abraham “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.”  We find our purpose when we find God’s purpose for us. We are here to do the will of the Father and to be a blessing to others. That is the purpose for our lives.
