A Word About Life and Things

Paths

On a flight to London, there were two basketball players that were going to catch another flight from London to where they were going. When they got to London their flight was delayed because of fog over London. They managed to catch another flight. The only seats available were 1st class seats. During the flight, the plane took a nosedive and went from 33,000 feet to 4,000 feet. The two basketball players heard some noise from the cockpit and they went to see what was wrong. This was before 9-11. There was a deranged man fighting with the two pilots, who were smaller than the assailant. The two basketball players were more than 6 feet tall and easily overcame the deranged man and tied him up. The plane arrived safely at its destination.

We plan our day but there are times when God steps in and changes our plans. A flight is delayed, we are stuck in traffic, and many other things slow us down. We cannot get done what we started to do. We get frustrated because our plans are changed.

We make our plans, but God directs our path. He knows what is coming our way and He makes changes in the way that we are going. He knows the path that we need to follow. He said that He will go before us and make our paths straight. We put our trust in Him and He directs our path.
