Just Ask
Too often in life, we accept things that the enemy
of our soul is trying to put on us. We talk about
‘my’ disease as if we own it and we do, if we talk
that way. We get older in life and say;
“Because I’m getting older I can expect these things
to happen”. We human beings can live with many
things that come our way. We get used to whatever it
may be. We put up with the things that come our way
because ‘We are getting older, that’s the way life
is, my parents had the same thing, etc.
We accept too many things that we don’t need to accept. I was walking into church one Sunday morning when I got a dizzy spell and almost fell. I asked God to give me my balance back and He did. I have not had a dizzy spell since. There was a 70-year-old woman that went to her doctor for a check-up. After seeing the woman the doctor said that she had Parkinson’s disease. The lady said “No I do not”; and she did not have it. We don’t have to accept whatever ‘it’ is just because the doctor or other people say that we ‘have it’. We like to give our kids the things that make their life better and to help them in life. How much more does God love us? He wants to give us the things that will make our life better. We are the children of God and He is our Father. However 1st we must believe Him and confess with our mouths that He wants us to be healed. Moses was 120 years old and his force was not abated and his eyes were not dim. When we need anything such as healing, paying our bills, helping out our kids, whatever the need maybe we just need to ask. God wants a relationship with us so we can depend on Him for all of our needs. We just need to Ask. New King James Version Matthew 6:8 "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. New King James Version Matthew 7:7 ¶ "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. |
